Welcome to my storytime blog! I have created a Virtual Storytime room with some stories and fun activities for you to do at home when you can't make it to the library. Stories and activities are changed every couple of weeks. You can also access past story blogs by using the sidebar search box.

RHYME-TIME:
Funky Chicken Song
Tuck your hands in your armpit and flap your elbows while you dance (and sing to this song based on today's first storybook). Most of all, have some fun making up your actions to this song.

ART LESSON:
FUNKY CHICKENS PAINTING Use the art supplies you have at home to make your version of the funky chicken. If you don't have paints, use markers or colored pencils. Use corrugated cardboard or plain paper as your canvas. Have some fun being creative and "funky"!
Look for more stories and activities in the coming days.
Remember, make it a great day, keep safe, and keep on reading!

RHYME-TIME:
I'm a Little Chick (Tune: I'm a Little Teapot) Adapted by Jolanda Garcia, KidsSoup, Inc.
I'm a little chick inside an egg; I’m slowly growing from head to leg. Soon you'll hear a knocking, pecking sound; The egg will crack - and I’ll pop out!
