Welcome to my storytime blog! I have created a Virtual Storytime room with some stories and fun activities for you to do at home when you can't make it to the library. Stories and activities are changed every couple of weeks. You can also access past story blogs by using the sidebar search box.

ACTIVITIES:
  • MAIL A HUG--Receiving mail can be fun! This website has a simple activity for you to download and color that you can then send by mail to someone special. If you don't have access to a large sheet of paper (as in the website), then simply draw a picture of your hug on regular sized printer or construction paper.

  • WRITE AND MAIL A POSTCARD--Or, perhaps you would prefer to write a short note to someone using the printable postcard from this website. The site also gives USPS instructions for placing the address and note on a postcard.

Whichever activity you choose, be sure to thank your postal worker today for helping keep you connected.

Look for more stories and activities Monday through Saturday.
Remember, make it a great day, keep safe, and keep on reading!
