ACTIVITY:
  • NATIONAL PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE DAY--This website has recipes for making peanut butter cookies, peanut butter and chocolate snack mix, or peanut butter overnight oats. It also includes ideas for reusing the empty peanut butter jar. You could make a movie night choice jar, a terrarium, a bank, or even as craft storage containers. The website also shares why the peanut plant is a sustainable crop for the land, community and people's health. Go have some fun celebrating the delicious peanut butter. [For those of you allergic to peanuts, enjoy the stories then think of another food with which you can be creative.]

Look for more stories and activities in every Monday through Saturday.
Remember, make it a great day, keep safe, and keep on reading!
